Barack Obama Teacher Merit Pay and Seniority the Union Displeasure

Obama plan sees extra pay for top teachers, may anger union
The speech of Barack Obama and his proposal for teachers pay increases based on merit raised some concern of the rank and file teachers and their union. One of the opinion to agree more with the teacher's union and dismiss Barack Obama suggestion to change the current pay system.
In engineering and electronics there is something called feedback system., so for the current situation under consideration. To counter balance his suggestion about good performing teachers, there will be some teachers who will avoid teaching the poor performing student classes and opt to teach the high achiever student classes. This will upset the whole system and Barack Obama proposals in this regard is short sighted and will back fire. It should be rejected out of hand.
