The Winning of Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts and Senator Edward Kennedy Campaign Struggle



One may get surprised that the Republican Scott Brown came from obscurity to win the Massachusetts senatorial seat held by Edward Kennedy 30 odd years. The fact that it was not easy for Senator Edward Kennedy to hold to this senate seat except for very hard campaigning and massive campaign spending helped enormously by his wealth.
In our present case when the Democrat candidate Martha Coackly ran in this tough campaign she lacked the financial resources of the late Edward Kennedy that kept him afloat and survive against his opponents.
This explains it all.
Martha Coakley defeated.
