Mitt Romney retracts from the 47% Statement about Victimizatiion

The Obama campaign said it's no surprise Mitt Romney backed off from a remark that 47 percent of Americans pay no income tax and believe "they are victims."

He raised the death toll in the clashes to 265, with 1,440 people wounded, and he said that 2,839 military personnel had been detained. At least 265 people have been killed in clashes, including 104 supporters of the coup attempt. The other 161 deaths include civilians and police officers killed in a helicopter attack on the outskirts of Ankara and in explosions at Parliament.
